Crosstab Live Morning: Michigan Moves, National Numbers Hold

Maya Good morning, and welcome to Crosstab Live Morning. It's twenty-five days until the election, and the headline since our last update is a new poll in Michigan's Senate race, Daniel.
Daniel That's right, Maya. Wedgewood Polls, out October 9th, has El-Sayed at 53 percent and Rogers at 47. That's a 6 point lead for El-Sayed, and it lines up with the crosstab average, which also has El-Sayed up by 3.5 points.
Maya Wedgewood was busy today, they also released a new poll in the Michigan Governor's race. What did that one show, Daniel?
Daniel Benson came in at 55 percent, James at 45. That's a 10 point margin in the poll itself, and the running average in that race now stands at Benson plus 7.5 points.
Maya What about Maine, Daniel? I saw a new Senate poll out there too, from Rasmussen.
Daniel Rasmussen has Jackson at 49 percent, Collins at 47. That's a 2 point edge in the poll, and the broader average puts Jackson up by 1.9 points.
Maya Within 2 points either way. That's one we'll keep watching closely, Daniel.
Daniel Minnesota's Senate race moved as well. Flanagan's average lead is now up to 3 points, from 1.6 points before our last check. That's a 1.4 point shift.
Maya That's a real move, Daniel. What's happening down in Florida?
Daniel In the Florida Senate race, Moody's average lead is up to 6.7 points, from 6.2 points before.
Daniel And over in the Governor's race, Donalds is up to 5.3 points, from 4.5 points before. Both races ticked toward Republicans.
Maya Let's zoom out for a second, Daniel. Where do the national numbers stand this morning?
Daniel Trump's approval is down to 37 percent, with disapproval at 61.3 percent. On the generic ballot, Democrats sit at 50.9 percent, Republicans at 42.1.
Daniel Maya, you've been tracking the Senate forecast all morning. What's that number showing right now?
Maya Democrats now have a 68 percent chance of winning Senate control, up from 67 percent at our last check. The most likely outcome in the model is 52 Democratic seats.
