Maya Good evening, I'm Maya, and we've got a brand new number out of Maine just hitting the wall.

Daniel And it's a big one, Maya. I'm Daniel. Marist just dropped Pingree at 52 percent, Charles at 40. That's a 12 point lead for Pingree.

Maya Twelve points from one pollster. How does that stack up against where the race has been sitting?

Daniel Right in line, actually. Our running average had Pingree up 11 before this poll. Marist just confirms it.

Maya So no real movement there, just confirmation. Let's go to Nevada, Daniel, because that one's doing something different.

Daniel It is. Noble Predictive Insights has Lombardo at 38, Ford at 37. That's within 1 point.

Maya Wait, Daniel, wasn't Ford ahead in our average before this poll came in?

Daniel Good catch. Ford led by 1.3 points. Now the average shows the race tied. That's a real move.

Maya A race we're watching closely, for sure. Thirteen polls in and neither candidate has pulled away.

Daniel Exactly. Ford and Lombardo are separated by nothing right now. Worth checking back on that one, Maya.

Maya Let's zoom out. What's the national picture tonight, Daniel? Where does Senate control stand?

Daniel Democrats have a 68 percent chance of winning control, Republicans at 32. Most likely outcome is 52 Democratic seats.

Maya And the approval numbers, just so people have the full wall in front of them?

Daniel Trump sits at 38.4 percent approve, 60.1 disapprove. On the generic ballot, Democrats lead 50.8 to 42.1.
