Maya Good afternoon, and welcome to Crosstab Live Midday. Daniel, nothing new since our last update, but let's make sure our viewers are caught up.

Daniel That's right, Maya. No new polls came in, no lead changes, no movement at all. The board is exactly where we left it.

Maya So where does that leave the Senate picture right now?

Daniel Democrats sit at a 68 percent chance of winning control, Republicans at 32 percent. The most likely outcome right now is 52 Democratic seats.

Maya And the map backs that up?

Daniel It does. No states flipped shading, no new calls. It's a quiet map today, which is its own kind of story.

Maya Let's check the national numbers, Daniel. Where does the President stand?

Daniel Trump's approval is 38.4 percent, disapproval 60.1 percent. Both unchanged from our last check-in.

Maya And the generic ballot?

Daniel Democrats hold 50.8 percent, Republicans 42.1 percent. Same gap we've been tracking.

Maya Daniel, let's pull up a race we haven't covered today. Kansas.

Daniel Right. Democrat Hamilton leads Republican Marshall by just 0.4 points, within 1 point after 11 polls. That's a race we're watching.

Maya Eleven polls and still under a point. That's remarkable discipline in the numbers.

Daniel It is. Twenty-nine days out, Maya, what does a margin that narrow tell you about how voters are sorting themselves there?

Maya Honestly, it tells me Kansas voters aren't settled yet, and neither are we. We'll keep watching it with you, Daniel.

Maya That's Crosstab Live Midday. Join us again at 4 p.m. Eastern.
