Maya Welcome back to Crosstab Live. Thirty-one days until the election, and since the last update, the national picture has held steady.

Daniel That is right, Maya. No new polls came in, no lead changes, and no movement in any race since we last checked in. Democrats sit at a 68 percent chance of winning control, Republicans at 32 percent.

Maya With nothing new nationally, let us go to a race we are watching today for the first time: Kansas.

Daniel Kansas has not been on our board yet this cycle, but it deserves a look. Eleven polls in, and Democrat Hamilton holds a slight edge over Republican Marshall.

Maya How slight are we talking, Daniel?

Daniel Hamilton is up by 0.4 points. That is within 1 point, which puts Kansas squarely on our list of races to watch heading into the final weeks.

Maya Let us pull up the full map and see how that fits into the broader Senate picture.

Daniel The map looks the same as it did last update. No seats have flipped color, and the most likely outcome right now is 52 Democratic seats.

Maya And what about the national environment, Daniel? Any movement there?

Daniel Also steady. Trump approval sits at 38.4 percent, disapproval at 60.1 percent. On the generic ballot, Democrats lead 51 percent to 42 percent for Republicans.

Maya So a quiet stretch overall, but Kansas gives us something fresh to track as we head toward election day.

Daniel Exactly. With thirty-one days left, a race within 1 point like this one is worth watching closely for any new polling.

Maya That's Crosstab Live. We'll be back when the numbers move.
