Maya We have breaking numbers out of Georgia. A new Wedgewood Polls survey just dropped in the Governor race, and it shows Republican Jackson opening up a lead.

Daniel That's right, Maya. Wedgewood Polls has Jackson at 51 percent and Lance Bottoms at 49 percent, a 2 point edge for the Republican side in this Governor race.

Maya How does that fresh poll match up with the broader picture in Georgia?

Daniel When you average it with everything else we've tracked, Jackson holds a 1.8 point lead over Lance Bottoms, Maya. So this new poll lines up closely with where the crosstab average already stood.

Maya Let's head over to Texas, where we're seeing movement from the betting markets rather than new poll numbers.

Daniel Exactly. Bettors now put Democrats at 25 percent in the Texas Governor race, up from 18 percent since the last live update. That's a real shift in sentiment, even without a new poll to point to.

Maya Zooming out to the Senate, where do things stand on control?

Daniel Nationally, Democrats have a 68 percent chance of winning control of the Senate, Republicans sit at 32 percent. The most likely outcome right now is 52 Democratic seats.

Maya Let's pull up the full map to see how that breaks down state by state.

Daniel The map still reflects the same overall shape we've been tracking since the last live update, Maya. No lead changes to report, but Georgia and Texas are the two spots with fresh movement worth watching on the board.

Maya And what about the national mood? Any movement in approval or the generic ballot?

Daniel President Trump sits at 38.4 percent approve, 60.1 percent disapprove. On the generic ballot, Democrats lead 51 percent to 42 percent for Republicans. Both numbers hold steady since the last live update.

Maya Before we go, let's highlight a race we haven't covered today: Kansas Senate.

Daniel This one is a race we're watching, Maya. Democrat Hamilton and Republican Marshall are within 1 point of each other, a 0.4 point margin after 11 polls. It's not necessarily the only close contest out there, but it's one worth keeping an eye on.

Maya That's Crosstab Live. We'll be back when the numbers move.
